99 Nights in the Forest — Base Building Guide
Your base is your lifeline. Here's where to build and how to design it.
Best Base Locations
1. Near the Campfire Spawn
- Pros: Central location, easy resource access
- Cons: Open area, need more walls
2. Against a Cliff/Wall
- Pros: Natural barrier on one side
- Cons: Limited escape routes
3. Near Water
- Pros: Access to clean water
- Cons: Limited building space
Base Design Tips
Double walls — Outer wall breaks, inner wall protects
Multiple campfires — Cover entire base with light
Trap corridors — Funnel enemies through Spike Traps
Escape routes — Always have a way out
Defense Priorities
1. Walls (first priority)
2. Campfire (light = safety)
3. Traps (damage enemies)
4. Turrets (late game)
Conclusion
A well-designed base is the key to surviving 99 nights!
